Description
The air filter vibration pad is made of durable materials such as Santoprene and is located between the air filter housing and the filter. The main purpose of the vibration pad is to minimize vibration and dampen the transmission of engine-generated vibration to the air filter group. By acting as a cushion, the vibration pad isolates the air filter housing from engine vibration, thereby protecting the integrity and effectiveness of the air filter. It prevents the air filter from moving or shaking excessively, reduces the risk of filter element damage, and ensures consistent and efficient filtration of incoming air. The engine air filter vibration pad can withstand the harsh conditions of the engine compartment and is typically installed when the air filter is assembled.
