312-1582 0.35 mm Thick Shim
Cat® Fuel Injection Pump Gasket
Description
A fuel injection pump shim is a thin, flat piece of material used to adjust the clearance or spacing between various components of the pump. It is inserted between components of the pump to achieve the required fit and performance. Shims are commonly used to fine-tune fuel delivery timing or to compensate for wear in the pump assembly. These shims are made of durable material, and by adding or removing shims, fuel delivery timing can be precisely calibrated.
Attributes
- Made of high-quality materials for durability and reliability.
- Enables precise calibration of fuel injection timing.
- Helps compensate for wear within the pump assembly.
- Promotes reliable operation by maintaining proper spacing and clearance between pump components.
Applications
The shim is used to obtain proper spacing and clearance between pump components. Widely used on Cat 3003, 3003C, 3011C, 3013C, 3014, C0.7 and C1.1 engines (piston), 301.5, 301.6, 301.7, 301.8, 302, 302.5, 302.7, 303 and 304 excavators, C1.1 generator sets, CB-114E S, CB114E XW and CB14 paving equipment, CB1.7 and CB1.8 compactors.
