Description
Cat hoses are designed to route liquids and gases through machine systems. These hoses are made of quality materials built to withstand the application-specific pressure, vibration resistance and flow requirements of Cat heavy-duty equipment. Cat hydraulic hoses and couplings are tested using some of the most rigorous processes in the industry. Every Cat hose and coupling combination is tested as a system to ensure a perfect fit, maximizing safety and reliability.
This hose is constructed with a hydraulic-oil-resistant thermoplastic or synthetic rubber inner tube and suitable fiber or wire reinforcement layers. The thermoplastic or synthetic rubber cover is resistant to hydraulic oil and weather.

In addition, properly maintained, appropriate Caterpillar tooling is recommended to ensure hoses are crimped to technical specifications. Using Caterpillar hose with another manufacturer's couplings, or Caterpillar couplings with another manufacturer's hose, may result in unreliable, unsafe, or poorly performing hose assemblies.
