Description
The pump bearing is used to support the hydraulic loads applied to the impeller, the mass of the impeller and shaft, and the loads generated by the shaft coupling or drive belt. The pump bearing keeps axial end movement and lateral deflection of the shaft within acceptable limits for the impeller and shaft seal.
