Cat® 4.2 mm Thick Fan Drive Rubber Serpentine Belt
Description
The serpentine belt is also known as an auxiliary drive belt, fan drive belt, and drive belt. The belt is long and winds through multiple pulleys. The belt can pass over more than three pulleys with a wrap angle large enough to avoid slippage, including an idler pulley that presses against the back of the belt, forcing the belt into a serpentine shape.
Features
- Belt effective length is 2645 ± 5.56 mm.
- Made of flexible materials, such as rubber or synthetic polymers, so it can bend and coil.
- Wear resistant.
Applications
The serpentine belt is used for the fan drive in the engine configuration assembly.
