251-3587 Straight Sleeve Bearing
Cat® 57.4 mm bore straight sleeve bearing for cylinders
Description
A straight sleeve bearing is a sliding contact bearing in which the surface of the shaft slides on the surface of the bushing. It consists of a cylindrical sleeve with a smooth inner surface that allows the shaft to rotate within it with minimal friction. Oil grooves cut into the bearing surface help distribute oil between the friction surfaces.
Attributes
Features 4 oil holes with a radius of 2.4 mm
Sintered for improved strength and self-lubricating quality
High impact load capacity and minimized vibration
Applications
Straight sleeve bearings are suited to applications where press fitting into a housing bore is the most practical bearing retention method. Mainly used in Cat® 320B, 320C, 322B, 322C, 324D, 325B, 325C, 325D, 330B, and 330C Excavators, 621, 621H, 621K, 627, 627H, and 627K Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, and GLS55 and GLS66 Work Tools.
