Description
The isolation mount is used to mount and locate systems, accommodate displacement, and isolate components from the surrounding structure (vibration, shock, noise).
Platform mounts feature an integrated flange and inner sleeve for easy bolted connections. The mount installs through a center hole and attaches with 2 or 4 flange bolts.
Features
Cat® mounting systems are designed to reduce the stress and strain on installed components, improve component durability and extend service life, and improve operator comfort. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, fasteners, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements.
Platform mounts are typically used to support axial static loads, and a large-OD rebound washer can be used to limit displacement.

Platform mounts can be used in different Cat system installations and work efficiently in connections that use sheet metal, such as electrical panels/boxes, coolers, and HVAC components.
