218-4406 260.6 mm ID Wear Ring
Cat® 260.6 mm ID Plastic Wear Ring for Final Drive
Description
Wear strips are used to eliminate metal-to-metal contact between the piston and the cylinder barrel, avoiding scoring, or to avoid scoring between the hydraulic rod and the hydraulic cylinder cover.
Features
Different types of applications call for different types of wear strips. The width of the wear strip usually depends on the side load requirements of each application. Wear strips can be made of plastic and clad with metal, and usually have a split on the side to help with installation.
Recommended Applications:
Wear strips are recommended for all reseal applications, extending the life of hydraulic cylinder components and reducing overall ownership and operating costs.
