200-3275 62 mm OD Needle Roller Bearing
Cat® 62 mm OD needle bearing used in piston motors
Description
The needle bearing is a rolling-contact bearing characterized by cylindrical rollers of very small diameter and relatively long length. These bearings are also called "sleeve" bearings. Needle bearings can be used with an inner race or an outer race. The needles are held in place by a cage or retainer, which also distributes them evenly around the periphery of the shaft.
Attributes
- Low coefficient of friction with little frictional loss in high-speed applications
- Designed for high load capacity, with a large number of long, thin rollers that distribute the load evenly over a large surface area
- Compact and lightweight, making it suitable for space-constrained applications
Applications
The needle bearing is used to support and facilitate the rotation of the shaft within the piston motor body.
