Description
A straight adapter is a fitting that connects two pipes of the same diameter in a straight line. They extend or terminate a line, provide a connection between a fitting and a pipe, and prevent leaks. Straight adapters are available in many styles and sizes, including tapered and straight thread fittings and adapters. Straight thread adapters, also called O-ring boss fittings, connect to the back of the male thread on the connector, against the locking face of the female thread.
