Description
The seal ring is used to provide a seal between the output shaft and the ball bearing in the torque converter assembly. The seal ring is designed to fit in a groove or recess in one of the mating surfaces and forms a compression seal when the two surfaces are brought together. This compression deforms the seal ring, filling any irregularities or gaps.

Applications
Seal rings are used to provide a leak-proof seal between the shaft and bearing in the torque converter. They are used mainly on Cat 518, 518C, 528, 528B and 530B Skidders, 814 Wheel Tractor-Scrapers, 815 and 816 Compactors, 920, 930, 944, 944A, 950, 966A, 966B and 966C Wheel Loaders, 950 and FB518 Tree Harvesters.
