Description
Cat® fastener parts are designed for specific applications based on size, strength, clamp load and past performance, information other manufacturers do not have. They are carefully selected to last until machine rebuild or end of life. Non-Cat hardware and fasteners may appear to fit your machine, but no one else knows your equipment the way we do.
These nuts are used to protect the protruding threaded end of a bolt and can sometimes be used to turn a bolt into a captive fastener. In some cases, they are tightened onto the end of a stud to secure a guard.
