170-9901 65 mm ID Roller Bearing
Cat® 65 mm ID Roller Bearing Used in Rotary Pump Assemblies
Description
Roller bearings, also called rolling-element bearings, are similar to ball bearings and are designed to carry loads while minimizing friction. However, roller bearings use cylindrical rolling elements instead of balls to transmit the load and provide support for the shaft of the rotary pump. The bearing uses rollers instead of balls to handle heavier loads.
Features
- Equipped with an improved sealing shield to prevent lubricant leakage
- Offers higher fatigue and impact resistance
- Built to exact specifications for durability and reliable performance
Applications
Roller bearings are used in rotary pumps, such as piston pumps, elevator hydraulic pumps, and buffer articulated pumps, to reduce friction.
