160-1823 Fuel Level Sender Group
Cat® Passive Fuel Sensor with Visual Dial,</br>Float, and Post
Description
Cat passive sensors do not require any external power source. The output signal is a variable resistance based on a float that moves along a column with the fuel level. A pull-up circuit is typically used to help diagnose wire and sensor problems. Aluminum components provide vibration stability and corrosion resistance.
Features
- Visible dial on the sensor
- Magnetic coupling isolates the fuel from electrical signals.
- Post Configuration (Top Mount, 6 Holes)
- Resistance Range (95-0 Ohms)
- Float Range: 700 mm
Applications
- Most off-highway Cat equipment
- Lower output voltage
- Cat level sensors are specific to the application or tank. Refer to your Operation and Maintenance Manual or contact MECHSC for more information.
