Description
The coolant temperature indicator is an important component of the vehicle dash panel, providing the driver with information about engine coolant temperature. The indicator can take the form of a gauge or warning light located on the dash panel display. Analog gauges use a dial and a temperature pointer moving along the dial to show temperature. Digital readouts display temperature numerically, usually in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit. A warning light illuminates when the temperature is outside the safe range and requires immediate attention.
