Cat® Valve Cotter for Securing Cylinder Head Valves to the Engine
Description
A cotter pin is a two-piece pin in which a semicircular length of wire is bent roughly in half and then formed into a loop to form the head. Once assembled, each half of the base can be bent to hold the pin in place. The specified cotter is designed for use with the clevis bolts included here, as well as bolt and nut assemblies with pins in general applications or other types of fixed, slotless mounting pin assemblies.
