Description
The fuel water separator baffle is part of the fluid management system and is mainly used to separate water or other contaminants from base fluids such as fuel or hydraulic fluid. The main function of the fuel water separator baffle is to remove water and other impurities from fluids circulating within heavy machinery. It does this through a series of mechanical and flow-based processes. As contaminated fluid enters the separator, the baffle directs it through a series of baffles and chambers. These obstacles slow the flow of fluid, allowing water droplets and other contaminants to settle at the bottom of the separator. The clean, purified fluid is then directed back to the machine's operating system, ensuring that only pure fluid circulates in the engine or hydraulic system.
