Track shoes provide the machine with flotation and traction while protecting the link group.
Features
- Double grouser track shoes have less penetration and traction than single grouser track shoes but better steering ability. Double grouser track shoes are standard on track-type loaders and excavators because they have lower turning resistance and better maneuverability.
- Center punched track shoes have an opening between the bolts that allows packed material to be released.
- Trapezoidal track shoes have a trapezoidal opening between the bolts that allows packed material to be released.
