Description
Cat® edge-bonded seals are used in static sealing applications and are designed with rubber bonded to a plastic or metal carrier to prevent leakage and contamination.
Features
Cat edge-bonded seals are easy to assemble, offer high bolt load retention and conform better to the surfaces of mating parts. Cat edge-bonded seals are made of materials compatible with the fluids, temperatures and pressures in Cat engines and machines. These materials resist wear and extrusion and give the seal excellent compression set resistance. Genuine Cat seals protect your investment.

| Material Description | FKM rubber has a service temperature range of -40 to 150C and is resistant to air, fuel (including biodiesel), lubricants and engine oil. FKM rubber should not be used in applications requiring water or coolant resistance. |
