116-7222 13.90 mm ID Fuel System Seal
Fuel System Seal
Description
Fuel system seals are designed and manufactured specifically to work in fuel systems, and use both an O-ring and a rectangular cross-section design.
Features
Cat® fuel system seals undergo additional advanced inspection to ensure reliable performance in this critical application. They are made from materials compatible with the fluids, temperatures and pressures in Cat fuel systems. These materials resist wear and extrusion, giving the seals excellent compression set resistance. In addition, some seals are coated with PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) to minimize seal twisting and cutting during installation.
Our seals are dimensioned to strictly follow tight tolerances, ensuring they are properly seated in the seal groove with the right seal compression.
Cat sealing systems prevent leaks and contamination of more expensive parts. Genuine Cat® seals protect your investment.
Applications
Fuel system seals are used in engine fuel systems.
