Description
The screen filters solid particles and debris out of fuel before it enters the pump. It keeps contaminants from entering the fuel line and damaging the pump and other parts. The screen consists of a steel mesh or perforated screen. It is placed in the fuel line near the pump inlet and acts as a barrier that captures larger particles and keeps them out of the pump.
