066-5815 57.15 mm ID Spherical Bearing
Cat® 57.15 mm ID spherical bearing with lubrication groove
Description
Cat bearings are designed for specific applications based on load, operating speed, temperature range, size and past performance, and are manufactured to the highest quality standards for long life and high performance. Self-aligning spherical bearings consist of a convex inner ring and a concave outer ring that rotate to relieve stresses on the shaft and bearing assembly caused by deflection. Caterpillar design engineers match each part with the right combination of size, material, surface finish and manufacturing process so it works effectively and wears in sync with all other adjacent and dependent parts.
Features
- Lubrication grooves and holes
- Single- or double-split outer race
- Outer Race Length: 42.85 mm (1.687 in)
- Ball Diameter: 82.17 mm (3.235 in)
Applications
Cat self-aligning spherical bearings are commonly used in applications with misalignment, high radial loads and axial loads in both directions. Refer to your Operation and Maintenance Manual or contact MECHSC for more information.
