Description
The engine air line elbow hose is a specialized hose designed in a bent or angled shape to make connections between engine components easier in aircraft or automotive applications. The engine air lines are the engine's intake and exhaust systems. Size and diameter should be selected to match the specific engine application and connection specifications. The hose material and construction should resist heat and maintain structural integrity without deforming or deteriorating.

Applications
Engine air line elbow hoses are widely used in aircraft and automotive engines. The elbow hose has the proper bend angle and dimensions to ensure correct fit and airflow within the intake system. Engines have a breather system to manage crankcase pressure and prevent the buildup of harmful gases. Elbow hoses are used to connect the crankcase breather valve to the intake manifold, allowing gases and vapors to circulate for proper ventilation and emissions control, and to connect the air pump or diverter valve to the exhaust manifold or catalytic converter, allowing fresh air to be injected into the exhaust system so the catalytic converter can work efficiently.
