Description
The metal seal ring has rectangular hooks at each end that overlap and interlock when the ring is assembled into the groove.
Cat retainers and seals are engineered and manufactured to withstand extremely high torque, high shock loads and frequent reversals. Cat seal rings are designed to seal liquids and gases in static, rotating and reciprocating applications. Cat® O-rings are made from materials compatible with the fluids, temperatures and pressures in Cat engines and machines. These materials resist wear and extrusion, giving the seals excellent compression set resistance. In addition, some Cat O-rings are coated with PTFE to minimize seal twisting and cutting during installation. Our O-rings are held to tight dimensional tolerances to ensure a proper fit in the seal groove with correct seal compression.
