Description
A spherical bearing is a bearing used to handle both radial and axial loads. It consists of an inner ring and an outer ring. The outer ring engages with the housing, while the inner ring is fixed on the shaft. A layer of sliding material fills the area between the two rings, reducing wear and friction. Its sliding layer allows relative movement between the inner and outer rings, enabling the bearing to cope with tilting and misalignment.
