Description
The deflector screen plate is a protective component designed to protect the axle from debris, contaminants, and other objects that could damage or interfere with axle operation. It is located on the front side of the drive shaft, between the axle housing and the axle shaft. It forms a barrier that keeps contaminants from entering the axle housing and damaging the axle shaft, gears, bearings, or other critical components.
