Specifications

Hose Warning	Improper selection of hose and coupling combinations will void the warranty and may result in serious injury or death, property damage, or component and machine system failure. Cat® hose assembly products are designed and tested as a system to achieve reliable connections, maximizing hydraulic system safety and reliability. In addition, use of properly maintained, appropriate Caterpillar tooling is recommended to ensure hoses are crimped to specification. Using Caterpillar hose with another manufacturer's couplings, or Caterpillar couplings with another manufacturer's hose, may result in hose assemblies that are unreliable, unsafe or perform poorly. Caterpillar does not recommend or endorse this practice. For more information, refer to SAE J1273 Section 6.3 and ISO 17165-2 Section 6.3.
