626-0151 Radial Piston Pump
Cat® 400cc Displacement Radial Piston Pump
Description
The radial piston pump is mounted on the lower frame. It uses a set of pistons arranged radially around a central shaft to generate fluid flow. The pump consists of a housing, a central shaft, and a set of pistons that are mounted on the shaft and swing back and forth in the housing as the shaft rotates. As the pistons move outward, a vacuum is created that draws fluid into the pump; as they move inward, they compress the fluid and force it out of the pump into the hydraulic circuit.
Features
- Fluid flow rate and pressure can be controlled by adjusting the speed of the motor or the displacement of the pistons.
- Built to exact specifications for durability, reliable performance, and outstanding productivity.
Applications
The radial piston pump is used to provide hydraulic power to various components, such as the transmission or steering.
