443-6656 3/4″ X 3/4″ Check Valve
Cat® 3/4" X 3/4" Check Valve for Use in Fuel Filters
Description
The check valve is a mechanical component used in fuel filters to ensure that fuel flows in only one direction (from the fuel tank to the engine). When the engine is not running or has been shut off, it prevents fuel from flowing back into the fuel tank, reducing the risk of leaks, spills, and other potentially hazardous situations. Check valves in fuel filters are typically made of materials resistant to gasoline, diesel, and other petroleum-based fuels.
Features
- The valve flow rate is 7 liters per minute.
- Helps reduce the amount of debris and contaminants entering the filter.
- The check valve opening pressure is 0.5 PSI.
Applications
The check valve is used for one-way fuel flow from the fuel tank to the engine.
