Description
247-8873 is a piston used to separate two opposing pressure areas in a hydraulic cylinder. The piston contains machined grooves for wear rings, which sit against the inner surface of the cylinder group and prevent damage and scoring of the piston or cylinder. It also contains machined grooves that hold seals, which prevent pressurized oil from moving the piston from one side of the cylinder chamber to the other.
