Description
The isolation mount is used to mount and locate systems, accommodate displacement, and isolate components from the surrounding structure (vibration, shock, noise).
Bushing mounts are cylindrical rubber components with a steel inner sleeve. They may be straight or flanged. Some mounts are installed inside an outer sleeve.
Features
Cat® mounting systems are designed to reduce the stress and strain on installed components, improve component durability and extend service life, and improve operator comfort. The entire system (mount design, material selection, placement, fasteners, etc.) is optimized and validated to meet specific application requirements.
Bushing mounts primarily support radial loads, and some mounts can rotate. They are typically press-fit into a support structure for a strong, secure connection. Bushings with an outer sleeve can also be installed in a cap-and-saddle support structure.
Applications
Bushing mounts are used in a variety of Cat mounting systems, such as powertrain, coolers, electronics, cab, HVAC, and hydraulic systems.
