Features
Cat Cylinder Heads:
- Manufactured to Caterpillar's strict design tolerances and standards. Ensures a leak-free, perfect fit with all cylinder head components and mating surfaces. Delivers maximum reliability and the longest service life.
- Clean. The casting process may leave core sand deep inside the cylinder head, which can harmfully contaminate the engine or hinder proper cooling during operation.
- Use with standard and oversize guides and/or valve inserts: A variety of guide and insert sizes are provided to maximize cylinder head reuse and repair.
- Designed for remanufacturing. The base plate of the expensive cover casting can be machined to remove minor damage and still be reused, extending service life.
