A water pump is a hydraulic machine that uses centrifugal force acting on the water to convert mechanical energy into hydraulic energy. It consists of four main components: the impeller, the housing, the suction pipe, and the delivery pipe. The rotating motion of the impeller changes the energy of the continuously flowing water.
