Description
The exhaust muffler is used in the exhaust system to reduce the noise produced by the engine as it expels exhaust gases. As exhaust gases pass through the muffler, they enter a series of chambers and tubes that cause sound waves to bounce back and forth and cancel each other out, reducing the overall noise produced by the engine.
