Description
The turbocharger cartridge is a component of the turbocharger system used in internal combustion engines. It consists of several parts, including the center shaft, turbine wheel, compressor wheel, and housing. The center shaft connects the turbine and compressor wheels and spins at high speed, driven by the exhaust gas expelled from the engine. The turbine wheel sits in the exhaust gas stream and uses the energy in the exhaust gas to drive the compressor wheel. The compressor wheel, in turn, compresses the intake air and forces it into the engine intake manifold, allowing more air to mix with fuel for combustion.
