Description
The radiator cap is a key component of a vehicle's cooling system. It is usually located on top of the radiator and is designed to regulate pressure in the cooling system. The cap contains a spring-loaded valve that opens when pressure in the cooling system exceeds a certain level, allowing coolant to flow into the overflow tank.
