Description
Cat heat exchangers (such as 364-8250) use seawater to remove excess heat from fluids before they enter the engine.
Shell and tube heat exchangers consist of a core made up of one tube or multiple parallel tubes (also called a tube bundle) enclosed in a sealed pressure vessel. Heat transfer occurs when one fluid flows through the smaller tubes while the other fluid flows around the outside and inside of the shell.
