Description
The slotted spring pin has a longitudinal slot along its entire length. The pin is compressed during installation and exerts continuous pressure against the sides of the hole wall. The pressure provides radial tension to prevent loosening due to vibration or shock. Fasteners and hardware are designed for specific applications based on size, strength, clamp load, and past performance, information that other manufacturers do not have. They are carefully selected to last until machine rebuild or end of life. Non-Cat hardware and fasteners may appear suitable for your machine, but other companies do not know your equipment the way we do.
