Description
The transmission seal ring helps engage the rotating clutches in the transmission and torque converter. It allows oil to flow from stationary components into rotating components while minimizing fluid loss. Cat® seal rings are made from a variety of materials, including rubber, energized rubber and plastic. This seal ring can handle applications with the most demanding pressures and speeds. From the seal ring geometry to the finish and heat treatment of the mating surfaces, every aspect of this sealing system is designed to work together, resist wear and deliver reliable performance.
