Description

Cat® Standard Efficiency fuel filters are recommended for normal-duty filtration in a variety of Cat equipment. Cat filters use fiberglass spiral roving and acrylic beads to keep the media pleats from bunching as fluid flows through the filter media, ensuring contaminants are captured and held. This is important while the engine is running and especially important during cold starts and machine shutdown. Pleats in will-fit filters often bunch, allowing contaminants to pass through the filter media to the "clean" side and cause additional component wear.
